Angry Kids Of Jealous Gods EP
“The danger must be growing for
the rowers keep on rowing.”
It was originally intended to be a 3-song EP...but songs keep getting added... so will it turn into an album? How will they release it?
With enough songs ready for a new album, there are options to consider and decisions to make...
And btw, the FTB back catalog (listed below) is on the table as well.

Band Bio
“FRANK THE BAPTIST always delivers!”
– Thomas Thyssen, Manager Press Promotion at Universal Music
Frank the Baptist (FTB) was formed in San Diego, CA in the late '90s by frontman Frank Vollmann. Periodic changes in the lineup have included notables such as Mario Usai of Clan Of Xymox, Carsten Klatte of Project Pitchfork, Benn Ra of Diva Destruction and Mephisto Waltz, Fez Wrecker of Fuzztones and Bonniwell Music Machine, and Justin Stephens of Passion Play. The band released their first album, Different Degrees of Empty on Strobe-light Records in 2003, followed by Beggars Would Ride in 2004.
The band headlined at Wave Gothic Treffen in 2005, and Frank relocated to Berlin in 2006. Re-united with earlier bandmates, the 2006 incarnation released The New Colossus in 2007. Following a few years of touring and more changes to the lineup, the fourth album, As The Camp Burns, was released in 2015. Then more years of playing shows in Berlin and touring around Europe; now FTB is ready to release their fifth album, Angry Kids of Jealous Gods.
Tour Info/Plans 2018
Frank the Baptist will co-headline WGT 2018, Saturday May 19th at The Täubchenthal in Leipzig Germany. (Past WGT Headline slots include The Parkbühne, Werk II, and Täubchenthal stages with another support performance in Agre Halle) and is also headlining Wave—Guitar—Fest IV on April 7 in Bielefeld, Germany and The Wave II Fest 2018, Aug 24–Aug 26 in Regensburg, Germany.
FTB Italian and Scandinavian Tours are getting booked for 2018 and the band will spend the rest of the time recording and shooting videos for the as-yet-unreleased songs of their Angry Kids Of Jealous Gods (will it be an EP or an album?). And then it's back to touring!
In May 2017 FTB kicked off a series of concerts with the legendary The Chameleons Vox from Manchester UK on their German Tour to promote their last album, As The Camp Burns.
In 2016, Frank The Baptist supported Fields Of The Nephilim on their German tour and played several shows in the USA, including headlining the Murder of Crows Festival in New York City.
“Frank Vollmann, our singing Seanchaí returns with a fantastic new Frank The Baptist record that captures the wonder, awe, and embellishments that only his seasoned craft of storytelling and song writing can provide. A perfect follow-up to The New Colossus, that will inevitably cause you to raise your glass and join in the chorus. Don’t miss this one!”
